We had a grand time with the Lysons family, as usual. Thursday the girls went to school for the afternoon with their cousins and then we went shopping for Halloween costumes. Friday the kids all stayed home from school and we went to the West Edmonton Mall for the day. We had a lot of fun on the rides at Galaxyland and got to watch the sea lion show and shop - pretty much a perfect day. :) Saturday was a fun day hanging out around the house with the weather being nice enough that the kids spent most of the day outside and Anita and I went for a walk with the dogs and Angie and Tessa. It was nice to see Angie and Tessa. We had a lovely brunch followed by a wiener roast for lunch and a great turkey dinner (we had missed Thanksgiving so we were very glad for the turkey supper). The kids were all excited about taking our girls on a haunted hike set up in the community so after supper we headed into Sherwood Park to catch the bus out to the hike. It was a lot of fun. Sunday morning we had a lovely meeting at the West's and a quick lunch and hit the road for our final home stretch. The sky is nice and clear and the mountains our magnificent.
